Job Title: Physician Nurse/RN

Location: TEC-North/Creekwood Clinic
Hours: 36 hrs/week
Reports To: Karen King, Nurse Manager
Summary of Job: Assist physician with the care of patients in the hospital, clinic, or endoscopy setting.
Essential Functions: Need to be able to deal compassionately, professionally and courteously with patients and families. Represent CIG in a professional manner at community facilities. Duties include staffing physician clinics, assisting the physician with phone calls, hospital rounds, billing, scheduling, and processing of biopsy and other lab reports. Must be self-directed and able to improve and acquire the skills necessary to enhance job performance.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, one year of nursing experience, valid Missouri Registered Nurse license, ACLS, and BLS certification required. Member of SGNA; and CGRN certification preferred. Experience in gastrointestinal procedures a plus. Flexibility work schedule and ability to travel a must.

Summary of Job: The basic function of this position is to locate and notify guarantors and/or third party payors of delinquent accounts, to solicit payment. Keep records of collections and status of accounts.
Essential Functions: Medical insurance A/R follow up, posting insurance/patient payments, insurance/patient phone calls, collections, working with insurance company’s regarding denials/appeals/incorrect payments.
Minimum Qualifications: Must have 5 years AR experience in a Physician based setting, AR follow up, payment posting, insurance knowledge, web based computer skills a plus, CPT and ICD9 coding experience preferred and high school diploma.
